Thanks for stopping by. This page is a spot where we can show off a few of our favorite photos, captured over the past few years. While I tend to shoot our Nikon cameras more, Laurie is no slouch, has a great eye and will use the cameras with great success
We keep both D-200 and D-300 bodies in the bag with a wide variety of lens options. Grabbing an image here and there is strictly a hobby for us though we’ve certainly get excited about some of the “moments in time” we’re able to save.
When we down sized the warehouse, we kept all our studio equipment as well as one drone airship that gets used occasionally for that unique point of view shot.
We shoot mostly for ourselves (and our web sites) but snap the occasional family, baby, friend and even a “glam” or two when asked to do so. Landscape, weather are our favorite subjects but occasionally, an interesting human will find his or her way in front of our cameras. As a rule we don’t shoot hot air balloons but I’ll make an exception and throw a couple on to the page.
If we were to name this image, it would be simple:

This little guy was in my basket in León during the 2003 event.
He sure wanted to go with me, not just in the balloon but home with us.
A commercial stand of trees waiting to become paper. With a fish-eye.

Laurie captured this on a mountainside near Guanajuato.
In the middle of nowhere, this man literally came out of the brush and simply appeared.
He was gone just as fast and never said a word.

Well you wouldn’t see this every day would you.

Few things are more colorful (or beautiful) than a desert sunrise in Nevada.
The remains of a home at Gilt Edge, Montana, very near the childhood home
of Laurie’s father. This one is likely near 100 years of age or more.
Another day comes to a close in the Hawaiian Islands.

Captured by Lesley-Spencer-Segadelli (Scott’s youngest) this image was taken
in Prosser, Washington, from a bridge on the river.
The image has become one of the most popular balloon images we utilize.
