Welcome to our “travel” info page …
As much as I’d love to show you images from our travels around the world, you can relax, I’m not going to. Mostly because there are far too many pictures and I think it is far more important to share my experience, my wisdom, so that when you go, you’ll have the knowledge you’ll need (that I didn’t have) therefore making your trip more exciting and certainly more memorable.
First, always remember, people in other lands don’t always do things like we do here in the States, as you can see from the propane re-fill in Paris, (left)

It is important that you stay aware of your surroundings at all times, both for safety
reasons and certainly when shopping (above), so that the important “deals” aren’t
missed or overlooked.
Ah, nothing quite like the adventure of late night, back alley shopping in a foreign
country, safety be damned, bring on the deals !
While in Asia and visiting a working seaport, embrace the fact that your blond wife will
be exceptionally popular with local sailors, and no, she really hasn’t been there before. (above)
Pretty hard not to notice that adult images and content are everywhere. What do you suppose the rest of the world has figured out that we haven’t? From a young women on a subway in Hong Kong (above) to a couple of hot boys (below) in Spain reading a poster on a busy street, the world has apparently learned that some things just aren’t that big a deal after all. Kind of a shame it hasn’t spread to our shores.
Gotta mention, that is old “Mad Dog Matty," one of the fiercest pirates in the history of mankind in that picture with me, (above) and he is, without doubt, one of the finest and certainly one of my favorite humans on the entire planet. Absolutely the kind of kid any man would be proud to be the father of !
Let me check … being flexible, staying observant, trying new food combinations, not missing any good sales, adult content, don’t get jealous, yep, that about does it for the travel basics …
The only important thing that remains to be said is this … if you're lucky and blessed as we have been, then you will have the opportunity to visit new places and meet and make new friends. For the most part, we have been lucky enough to share these experiences with some of the neatest people on earth. My hope for you would be that as you travel, you’re able to do the same and share the experience with your friends. It makes it all the more enjoyable.

will always have a special place in our hearts. I guess you know why ???
It is hard to reduce forty years of travel (most with balloons) into a few images on a web page. We have been so lucky to have the opportunity to go to so many unique and stunning places not just around the world but here in the States and Canada, too. We are very aware that none of it would have been possible without the connection in our lives that is provided by the world of hot air.
Thanks to Coca-Cola and all our clients that have allowed us the chance to go out and see the world with our own eyes. Thanks especially to Walt Disney and all our friends there that have so kindly welcomed us into their family and given us the opportunity to see the world while acting as pilots of the world’s most famous hot air balloon. WOW …

It makes no difference to me where in the world we end our day, so long as the day
was sunny, warm, near the water and spent with you.
